These days, fashion brands are not only competing with clothes, but their presentations also have to be on point. The world has entered a new era where “new” is necessary. As audiences expect to be surprised and entertained with each coming season, brands keep up with grand performances that transcend the runways of fashion shows.
For their Spring/Summer 2019 campaign, luxury brand Gucci has released a special video presented in the style of classical films and musicals from the 40s and 50s. The campaign, directed by Glen Lunchford, takes us to the Golden Age of Hollywood with images inspired by great classics like “There’s No Business Like Show Business” and “Singin’ in the Rain”. The actors are adorned in stunning Gucci looks, giving us a completely different feel. What do you think?

ถึงตอนนี้คงต้องบอกว่าแบรนด์แฟชั่นเดี๋ยวนี้ แข่งกันแค่ผลงานออกแบบก็ไม่พอแล้ว แต่ยังต้องแข่งกันเรื่องการนำเสนอด้วย เพราะโลกนี้ได้ก้าวเข้าสู่ยุคที่คนต้องการอะไรที่แปลกใหม่ตลอดเวลา ไม่แปลกเลยที่แต่ละฤดูกาล บรรดาแบรนด์ใหญ่ๆ จะงัดหมัดเด็ดมาปล่อยกันเต็มที่ ผ่านแพลตฟอร์มที่ไม่ใช่แค่รันเวย์แฟชั่นโชว์เท่านั้น
ล่าสุดนี้ แบรนด์หรูอย่างกุชชี่ได้ปล่อยแคมเปญล่าสุดประจำฤดูใบไม้ผลิ-ฤดูร้อน 2019 ในชื่อของ Gucci Showtime ที่นำเสนอออกมาเป็นรูปแบบของละครมิวสิคัลแบบย้อนยุค ซึ่งแคมเปญที่กำกับโดย Glen Luchford นี้พาเราย้อนกลับไปสู่ยุคทองของละครเพลงฮอลลีวูดและต้นกำเนิดของอินฟลูเอนเซอร์ในยุคทศวรรษที่ 40s-50s แถมยังมีการนำซีนภาพยนตร์คลาสสิกอย่าง There’s No Business Like Show Business และ Singin’ in the Rain มาล้อให้หายคิดถึงด้วย แต่ที่แตกต่างคือนักแสดงทุกคนแต่งตัวด้วยกุชชี่แบบโททัลลุค แบบนี้ก็ได้อารมณ์อีกแบบ ว่าไหม?
