Edgy Parisian label Carven is due to unveil its first capsule collection for Petit Bateau. Nine looks for adults and children are in the offing with price tags starting at 50 €.
The collection will go on sale from November 5 at Colette in Paris and Corso Como in Milan. The pieces will also be available in exclusive boutiques in London and Brussels. A month later, the collection will launch in Petit Bateau stores worldwide.
Prior to this project with Petit Bateau, Carven has already lent its creative flourishes to ranges by shoe designer Robert Clergerie, Upla and Amy.
“Our collaborations up until now were often associated with a collection and a specific narrative, but the line we have developed together with Petit Bateau goes far beyond that. It’s no longer a story linked to a collection; it’s a story of shared values, “Carven’s head designer Guillaume Henry explained in WWD.
Carven will show its S/S 2013 women’s wear collection at the Paris Fashion Week on Thursday September 27.
