Longines is a trusted name in the watchmaking industry. Steep in heritage, the company has left their mark with important creations throughout the evolutionary stages. They are a pioneer in many areas including chronographs or stopwatches, and entrusted with sports timekeeping duties for that reason.
Their HydroConquest happens to be one of the most sensible dive watch purchases of 2018. With elegance as the key design element, Longines has chosen to propose this watch in the two sizes of 41 and 43 mm, both water resistant to 300 metres with thanks to the screw-down crown and caseback. Installed inside the stainless steel case is the self-winding Calibre L888.2, manufactured by ETA, with a power reserve of 64 hours. The sunray dial comes in choices of black, blue or grey with large numerals for the 12, 6 and 9 o’clock positions, leaving 3 o’clock free for the date window. Legibility is ensured under all lighting circumstances with the application of multiple layers of antireflective coating on the sapphire crystal.
