The game of love is interpreted once again through mechanical beauty of Margot Velours.

Love is a wondrous thing and it is never obvious. That’s why people devised the game of chance to try and guess at the feeling of the other party. Christophe Claret captured this romance once again with the Margot Velours watch. The 38.40 mm blue PVD-treated white gold timepiece is gracefully decorated by a snowset of brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel and the lugs. Its dial is enlivened with blue mother-of-pearl and pear-cut diamonds at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions.
At the core of this Margot Velours model is the mechanical game of “he loves me, he loves me not”. The daisy flower at the centre has 12 petals of white lacquered titanium around a pink sapphire pistil. Once the button on the side of the case at 2 o’clock is pushed, an unpredictable number of petals will fall off and two phrases will appear in the windows at 7 and 5 o’clock to form a sentence in French. The five possible combinations indicate the feeling the mysterious guy has for the owner of the watch: he loves me just a little, he loves me a lot, he loves me passionately, he loves me madly; or, he doesn’t love me.
