HTC on Monday announced a new gold color option for the HTC One in European countries, thus taking on the gold versions of Apple’s iPhone 5s and Samsung’s Galaxy S4.
The new HTC One Gold features a brushed metal aluminum body with black accents and features the same specs found on the original HTC One.
That includes a 4.7-inch 1080p display, 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 4-megapixel UltraPixel rear camera and Android running beneath HTC’s custom Sense user interface.
HTC previously unveiled a limited edition 18 carat gold version of the HTC One to coincide with this year’s MOBO Awards. Just five of the handsets were created.
