German street artist that does by the name ‘1010’ reveals the hidden beauty within old and new walls of, and within, buildings. Over the last year, the artist has created several colourful portals in locations around Germany, Panama and the States. The layers of colours painted onto the walls, especially those on grey and dilapidated buildings, add a surprising layer of depth and delight to an otherwise dull landscape. His concentric layers of color against the plain gallery walls also bring a vibrant energy to the art exhibition.
