MB&F เป็นแบรนด์นาฬิกาที่ไม่เหมือนใคร ผลงานทุกชิ้นของบริษัทนี้อยู่นอกกรอบนิยามของคำว่านาฬิกาในแบบที่เราคุ้นเคยกัน เริ่มแรกมามีไลน์นาฬิกาชื่อ Horological Machine ที่มาพร้อมความล้ำในแนวกึ่งไซไฟหรือแฟนตาซี จากนั้นเมื่อถึงจุดหนึ่งจึงมีไลน์ Legacy Machine ตามมาในอารมณ์ย้อนยุคแบบคลาสสิกแต่แฝงไว้ด้วยกลิ่นอายของความสตีมพังค์อย่างชัดเจน อย่างไรก็ดี นาฬิกาทั้งหมดที่กล่าวถึงนี้เป็นนาฬิกาผู้ชาย

The Legacy Machine FlyingT is the company’s first horological art for female, after 14 years in the business.

MB&F exists in their own universe. Their creations transcend the common definition of watches as we know them. MB&F came into the scene first with their Horological Machine family and the associated sci-fi or fantasy persona. Then, the Legacy Machine series followed, offering a retrospective vision of what would have happened if classicism were to be imbued by with steampunkish details. The creations were strictly for men, however.
That is until the Legacy Machine FlyingT is revealed as the first timepiece designed and developed for ladies in the 14 years history of the brand. It is a tough challenge for founder Maximilian Büsser who had no prior experience designing an MB&F for women. In fact, he admitted in an interview by saying, “I have no idea what a woman wants. And so it was a big ordeal to create something that way. And finally, what I really made is that I stop thinking what would they like. And I actually projected on this piece what I love in the women of my life,” referring to his mother, his wife and his daughter.
With a round case in 18K white gold, the Legacy Machine FlyingT is a package of energy and elegance. A huge dome of sapphire crystal creates a vacuum-like space where the flying tourbillon rises from the centre of the stage. A single diamond is placed as its top, rotating constantly with its motion as the mechanism beats with time. The time-telling dial is found at the seven o’clock position in the form of a small disc set at a 50 degrees angle towards the wearer for ease of reading. The red gold rotor on the back serves to wind the watch by the motion of the wrist. The component itself is sculpted in the shape of sun rays, alluding to the all-powerful star as the source of life for earth and humanity.
MB&F Legacy Machine FlyingT is for confident ladies who are not afraid to be different. It is presented in three variations: LM FlyingT Black Lacquer with black lacquer dial and brilliant-cut diamonds on the case; LM FlyingT Pavée with fully paved brilliant-cut diamonds on the dial and the case; and, LM FlyingT Baguette with fully paved baguette-cut diamonds on the dial and the case.
