Short-term vacation rental service Airbnb has announced plans to release a quarterly travel magazine that will cover everything from culture and art to food and style as seen through the lens of three different cities.
The inaugural edition of the magazine, called Pineapple, will be distributed for free to global hosts, with a limited number of copies also for sale at newsstands and in boutiques across North America and Europe.
The initial print run will be 18,000 copies.

Stories will include insider tips, personal anecdotes and essays and will be written by experienced Airbnb hosts and travelers.
The featured cities in the first issue are London, Seoul and San Francisco. Copies will be distributed at the annual Airbnb Open summit held in San Francisco for hosts November 21-23.
